Welcome to Berkshire Pilates!

 

Pilates has been a part of my life for the past 8 years and it has helped me achieve a stronger, toned and more flexible body. I was first introduced to Pilates as a part of my rehabilitation following major back surgery and it is now a way of life for me, continuously strengthening my core stability and helping to prevent further back problems.

Regular Pilates classes will result in a longer, leaner, more flexible body and focuses on a mind / body connection to increase your body awareness. Through a series of strength and mobility exercises, Pilates builds strength from within, initiating every movement through engaging your deep abdominals and stabilising your torso. The exercises are progressive and safe, concentrating on slow, controlled, flowing movements.

I don't have a large organisation and I don’t have a call centre handling my calls. I believe that it is important that you feel comfortable with your instructor; Pilates is personal to you - and I talk to you – personally!

At Berkshire Pilates, I ensure a limited number of clients are in the class to allow for individual attention – this is not a mass produced production line, each body is different and the session is tailored to take each person into consideration.
